The Town of Essex boasts a unique blend of rural and urban flavours comprised of four very unique centres. Essex Centre, Harrow Centre, McGregor Centre and the Colchester Centre. Take a trolley ride and tour one of the seven wineries or fell free to follow the wine route signs and stop for a taste of some of Essex’s finest wines at View Pointe Estate Winery, Colio Estate Winery, Erie Shores Vineyard, Sanson Estate Winery, Colchester Ridge Estate Winery, Muscedere Vineyard or Sprucewoood Shores Estate Winery.

The Town of Essex has so much to offer, from leisurely strolls on one of our trails to exploring our many museums or heritage sites to enjoying a quiet day at our harbor on the North Shore or Lake Erie or if you just want to just enjoy the small town atmosphere shopping in our downtown core, you are bound to be quite happy to discover our great town.
